A Bottom up approach to mental health and wellbeing
“Yoga is experienced in that mind which has ceased to identify itself with its vacillating waves of perception. When that happens, then the seer is revealed resting in its own essential nature and one realizes the true self”. ”

Francina’s approach to mental health therapy is integrative, trauma-informed, and highly personalized. I believe that because trauma and neurodivergence as well as everything we’ve ever lived in both the mind and the body, therapy should address both. I utilize a blend of talk therapy with:
Art Therapy, Metaphor, and Expression: To process what words sometimes can't.
Somatic & Yoga Therapy: To help regulate your nervous system and find safety in your body.
CCTP-II Strategies: To address complex trauma and PTSD with evidence-based care.
Neuro-Affirming Care: Specialized support for Autism Spectrum Disorder that honors your unique processing style.
LGBTQ-affirming care, Women’s issues
Systems, Feminist, Anti-Colonialism/De-colonialism
Whether we are using creative expression or somatic grounding, my focus is on building your self-awareness and empowering you to make choices that align with your true self. We deconstruct to reconstruct. If you are looking for a therapist who is welcoming, non-judgmental, and ready to do the work with you, let's connect.

Building a foundation just where we are. My four corners are my bed and yoga mat. Through the lens of our telehealth session, I help you build yourself in your own environment. Observing what you have done in the past to support your rhythm, we integrate new ways. Like those containers that sit and get stored inside larger containers, like nesting dolls, we find our center, and our ground.
In therapy with Francina, choice is always first. Collaboration and curiosity, humor, and understanding. We tie it all together and connect from head to toe and inside our four walls of protection.
What might seem irrelevant to the thinking brain is just the tip of the iceberg; there is so much more.
And images are the bridge to the deeper part of the iceberg. I help you first notice that outer sheathe, your physical body, and next your breath. Imagination is the bridge that connects to your deeper iceberg. And since trauma is stored in the body and breath and nervous system, we can go deep on so many levels.

In our first session, our priority is safety and clarity. We’ll start by mapping out where you are feeling 'stuck'—whether that’s in your thoughts, your emotions, or your physical body.
Because I am a CCTP-II and Yoga Therapist, I don't just ask 'how was your week?' We will begin identifying the specific triggers and patterns that affect your nervous system. You can expect a warm, active conversation where we decide together which tools—Art Therapy, Somatic Yoga techniques, or Trauma-informed strategies—feel right for your unique brain. You’ll leave our first meeting with a clear sense of how we will work together to move you from 'just surviving' to feeling empowered in your own skin.
